Drive along the side of the gentle Tambo River, past grazing cattle and tall gums and you’ll find your sense of expectation rising. Then, as you enter the village, your eye catches a sweep of blue bay, a pelican takes flight, boats bob at anchor, and the locals smile. You know you’ve arrived at a very special place.
